We’re often contacted by homeowners who have a hard time seeing the read-out on their oven display. If you cannot see the temperature or read the display on your range, keep reading.
About 98% of dim displays on a control boards can be traced back to one of two things. Either there are faulty or failing components on the control board causing the display to receive inadquate power, or the problem is within the glass display itself. The filaments of glass vaccuum displays are similar to that of a lightbulbs, in that they wear and diminish over time. The only way to fix an issue with the glass display it to replace it entirely. Luckily, FixYourBoard has replacement displays available. Problem solved!
Below are two examples of dim displays before they were repaired.

Sometimes we find that customers have more than one issue with their appliance. “My unit isnt baking either.” At our lab, we’ll go over the entire control. This means that, we’ll replace the bad components as well as other parts we know are failure prone. Your control board will be restored to a like new condition and fully tested for 100% functionality.
