A lot of homeowners think they have a faulty control board when this happens. If your oven bakes fine at 350 degrees, then your control board is A-ok. If the temperature wont increase, it is a keypad problem. The circuitry in the button of the keypad membrane had failed, or “shorted” causing his keypad to not function as it should and to even complete commands it isn’t designed to.
The factory keypad for this series of ovens is no longer manufactured. “No longer manufactured” parts typically equates to “new appliance”. However, Joe, not wanting to spend hundreds or thousands on a new oven, called us at FixYourBoard because we have a solution.
